We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new thematic project in the mission Green LIVING AREAS aimed at transforming our community into a more sustainable and eco-friendly living space. The Mission undertakes projects that bring local communities to life with green development at their epicentre, reducing negative climate impacts on the region’s ecosystems, and enhancing climate resilience.

On 21st November 2023, the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg Euro-MED Programme approved 56 projects. From the 56 projects, 19 will be part of the Green Living areas mission. From 19 project there are 16 test projects, 2 study projects and one transfer project. MORE. The topics which the project will cover are:

• Sustainable Mobility,
• Sustainable Energy Planning and Carbon neutral territories,
• Urban regenerations (incl. Natural base solutions, Bauhaus,)

With some cross-cutting issues such as the participation process, awareness raising and finances.

In the next days, each Lead partner will receive from Community4living area’s introduction mail with some hints for future work.

The success of Mission Green Living Area relies on the active involvement and enthusiasm of each member of our community. Together, let’s transform our communities into more sustainable living areas with an integrated vision of the territory energy transition and make the quality of life of Mediterranean citizens better.
