We are excited to invite you to additional workshop organised by the Green Living Areas Mission with the title: “Concrete actions for an effective territorial cooperation and synergies for greener Living Areas” as part of the two day event “Connecting the dots: the path to a Smarter and Greener Mediterranean”.
Join us in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on November 22nd from 14.00 til 15.30 CET.
Objective of the workshop:
The goal of the workshop is to establish cooperation mechanisms and thematic working groups allowing to increase the capitalization of the EU project results and the synergies among the actors of the different cooperation areas under the Green Living Areas topic.
Concept note:
In this specific moment of paving the way for an efficient of project results amplification strategy setting, it is highly relevant to coordinate all the potential initiatives and programs that can be part of this process, in a win-win collaboration methodology, taking into account the needs and interests of different parties acting in the EUROMED cooperation area. This workshop aims to gather the main actors working at the community level to create a methodology, made by a set of concrete actions that will be organized during the programming period to successfully exchange and benefit from the synergies among the initiatives. Starting from the results of the previous sessions, we intend to present a first draft of the collaboration proposal and to discuss it with the different representatives in order to arrive to an agreement on concrete actions to be implemented during the current programming period. The final report of the workshop will gather all the joint concrete actions that will be elaborated in the framework of the session, and the related reference persons. The workshop will be the occasion to present the main topics the GLA Community will be focus on in the next years, allowing to create thematic working groups and to start a debate on potential collaboration activities with the different stakeholders.
Draft agenda:
- 14.00 – 14.15: Presentation of the activities of both projects of the Mission.
- 14.15 – 14.30: Presentation of the categories/thematic from the selected project of the GLA Community and debate among the participants on the related possible collaboration and thematic working groups.
- 14.30 – 15.15: Presentation of a first proposal of joint concrete actions to be implemented together and debate among the participants.
- 15.15 – 15.30: Wrap up
