The Vice Governor for Entrepreneurship Research and Innovation, Fokion Zaimis, representing the Region of Western Greece, participated in the 8th EUSAIR Forum, which took place on 23-25 May 2023 in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).
Specifically, he participated in the AI-NURECCPLUS High Level Conference talking about “Circular Economy and Water Resources Management”, presenting actions and initiatives of the Region of Western Greece. Additionally, he showcased the Community4Living Areas project as another notable undertaking in which the region is actively engaged, focusing on the development of Green Living Areas. In this presentation Reference was also made to the European initiative for the Mediterranean Macro-Region and the important role that the Region of Western Greece is called upon to play.
