The Green Living Areas Mission was present at the 10th EUSAIR Forum!

07/05/2025

The Green Living Areas Mission proudly took part in the 10th EUSAIR Forum, held on 5-7 May 2025, in Crete, Greece.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the University of Patras and the Region of Western Greece, a fruitful session was successfully organised within the Forum’s framework. This milestone event brought together stakeholders from across the ten participating countries to review progress and collaboratively shape the future of the EUSAIR Strategy.

As part of the session “Shaping the Future of the Adriatic–Ionian Region”, the Dialogue4LivingAreas project demonstrated how institutional dialogue and community engagement serve as key enablers of sustainable public procurement and green transitions across the region. In parallel, the Community4LivingAreas project highlighted its efforts to build a dynamic, cross-sector community centred on technical expertise, strategic green solutions, and innovation, ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey toward a more sustainable and inclusive future.

The Forum was an occasion for participants to discover the Green Living Areas Mission and its policy dialogue approach. This focuses on the adaptation, replication, and transfer of impactful policy instruments to transform Euro-Mediterranean living areas into greener, more liveable spaces, in collaboration with Thematic Projects.

This intervention sparked a dynamic exchange among four projects from two ProgrammesInterreg Euro-MED and ADRION—strengthening multi-programme cooperation and amplifying the visibility and impact of our shared goals.

Here, you can find the full programme of the Forum, and explore the official website for the event’s key conclusions and outcomes!

Thank you to all who joined us—we look forward to continuing the dialogue and working together toward a more resilient, sustainable future!
